Die Fahrzeuge für den US-Markt wurden mit Radiogeräten von Bendix ausgestattet.
Die Radiogeräte wurden in den Zubehörkatalogen als Einbausatz angeboten. Mit Antenne, Lautsprecher, etc.
Diese spezielle Blende (Bendix #2092610-1) muss beim Einbau in einen Volvo P1800 verwendet werden, damit das Gehäuse des Radioapparats nicht an die Mechanik der Scheibenwischanlage stösst. Auch für Blaupunkt Radiogeräte gibt es eine vergleichbare Blende.
