VOLVO 1800E
Model produced from November 1969 until June 1972.
It goes faster without the carburetors.
The VOLVO 1800E now has fuel injection. Which not only makes it go faster, but think.
The system is electronically controlled by a little computer unit that evaluates information on air temperature, altitude, engine speed, load and temperature. Then it "orders" he perfect fuel mixture for the conditions. So the engine always runs smoothly. And doesn't require a tune-up every time the weather changes.

VOLVO 1800ES
Model produced from August 1971 until June 1973.
The 1800ES had a newly designed rear end compared with the previous versions of the 1800. The roofline had been extended and the car had a profile that was more reminiscent of an estate. The 1800ES had increased luggage capacity to provide extra space for golfing or hunting equipment, for example.
